Walking the Speyside Way in Scotland and Touring in Ireland, 2026

2026 presents an opportunity to return to Scotland for another Hillwalk Tours walk along the River Spey in Scotland through an area full of famous distilleries. After several days in Edinburgh and the nine days included in the hundred mile trek from Buckie to Aviemore with excursions into the Cairingorm Mountains, we fly back to Dublin and drive across Ireland to Achill Island where we begin a circle of the northwestern coastline visiting as many walkable and climbable Irish mountains as we can manage.
